Father’s Day

This weekend is Father’s Day so get out with your dad and your kids and celebrate life.  Do a little fishing and a lot of grilling!!! I took this beautiful shot flying home from Mexico in April…. I was missing my dad and thinking about heaven and how I thought as a child our deceased loved ones lived in the clouds.  I didn’t see the heart/angel wings until I viewed the photo when I got home.  My dad is with me everywhere.  I often think of him and within second see a red-tail hawk nearby.

I sure miss my dad. It is hard to believe it has been 8 years.  If it wasn’t for my dad I would probably be out shopping… Ewwww.  This is going to be the best year because I am going to embrace the outdoors even more.  Last summer I got my motorcycle license but I am still waiting to find the perfect bike.  I saw it last year and I regret not buying it.  Oh well… when it is time, the right bike, at the right price, will be there.

I also plan to start shooting again.  I found a dandy lil S&W revolver with a built in laser… activated when you grip the handle. I am noticing a lot more women are target shooting and hunting.. I can’t wait to try hunting again this year with LeeAnn.  She is a great huntress.  Have a great day everyone!
