I just got back from my quick one day fishing adventure. I hired Crappie Keith to teach me patterns and methods for catching crappies. We met Tuesday morning in McGregor and went to Big Sandy to try our luck. First of all, let me say that if you want to become a better fisherman or fisherwoman, spend the money to hire a professional guide. I learned more in one day than I would have learned fishing on my own all year. I am not giving away my secrets for free but I will tell you we were catching fish… lots of large crappies… I have never been able to get crappies or any fish to bite in August. We slayed them.
