Woo Hoo chilly willy…. 47 degrees this morning. My head cold came back with a vengence. I went riding Saturday and loved looking at the leaves along the way throughout Wisconsin. We ended up going through Taylor’s Falls, Dresser, Stillwater and finally home after dark. We met a really nice group of people at CJ’s. Deb and Julie and I forgot Deb’s husbands name. Sorry. We talked about life, politics and religion… Two things you are never supposed to talk about. We did agree on one very important fact. We all enjoy camping and fishing. They are city dwellers that were camping by Wild Mountain.. We plan to get together for “city eats” at La Cucharacha in St. Paul soon. Email me Deb, and we will set something up.
This week I am going to start looking for spearhouse shanty plans. I want to set up a house that I can spear and angle in. I would like to be able to have 4-6 people comfortably. I do have a small portable spear house that I will use to move around if need be.
So what’s your plans for the week? Are you fishing, winterizing the cabin, building your spear shack, getting ready for hunting? Whatever you are doing enjoy the beautiful weather this week.
