Well I am finally doing it. After 20 years, I have made up my mind. I am going to buy my own motorcycle. I had a dream that I was riding a white horse and saving souls. Some of you will very clearly know what that means and some of you won’t. I have always loved to ride and was hesitant to have my own motorcycle because I was raising Adriana alone. She is now 22 and a mom of her own. I am just your ordinary NorthernGirl that lives my life with passion.
I was at Maranatha last weekend at the annual Strut your Stuff car/motorcycle show… Just the day before, Scott had told me about a men’s motorcycle group called the Bond Slaves. I thought it would be interesting to meet a chapter member and ask a few questions… Now here is the really cool part. Saturday morning I had all my gear in the car and was planning for a day on the bike I was heading up 35 W going about 75 and I saw a motorcycle approaching very fast. He was maybe 2 feet off my bumper for the entire ride to Forest Lake. I was eventually doing 80 and we were hauling ***. I turned off on the Forest Lake exit and the biker turned the other way and I saw his jacket said Bond Slaves….
When we jumped on the bike I told Scott about my experience. He said maybe we will see him at Maranatha. Sure enough the Bond Slaves had an tent up and there he was….. I was going to stop and ask him a few questions but the group had left by the time I made it back to that area.
I found a MN member on Facebook that actually lives 11 miles from my home and in the same city I work. We have had a few chats but they will only allow the chapter president to do interviews. If my request is approved I will post the interview later. If you want to know more about this group, Google Bond Slaves and you will get a ton of information. These guys witness to prisoners, bikers, and Hell’s Angels… Can you imagine being able to help a Hell’s Angel member come to Christ? I want to hear their story.
Until then….. Live Life Love Life! I love you all. Have a safe weekend.
