How depressing, huh? I am happy to say that this year has been my best spearfishing season ever. I am going to squeek one last weekend in. I am leaving for Baudette again on Wednesday and will spear until Sunday.
My last trip was 2-11 to 2-15. My trip got cut short due to an emergency at the office. Sometimes life happens… I did work with Gary Hull on learning to carve decoys. I have 4 decoys started that I will finish when I get there. I also hope to get a chance to spear fish with my new friend “Short”. Short and I discussed the possibility of him building me a custom motorcycle. We have 2 years to finish it just in time for my mid-life crisis. I went to Twin City Harley this weekend and found two beautiful mtorcycles that I fell in love with. I really have my heart set on Pearl White paint and most likely the Heritage Softtail. They seem to be great bikes. I have decided to buy Jeff”s V-Star and use it as a practice motorcycle for the first year or two. Then I will buy the one I really want.
So what wonderful adventures have you been on? I went to the Minnesota Wild game last night in a total blizzard!!! It was pretty fun. You know this Northern Girl never let a blizzard keep her home! Ha!
