Redneck Moose Ride

Gunflint Lodge
Gorgeous Girl-30 Burrrrrr

Hello everyone!  This weekend’s adventure was a trip to the Gunflint Lodge up on the Canadian Border.  What a blast.  It was way too cold to fish… -20 with a windchill making it feel like -30.  No sense getting frostbittten fingers so I made the best out of it and went site seeing in the Blazer.  I drove to the end of the trail and back down to explore several lodges and taverns.  Nothing compares to the Gunflint Lodge!  The staff was perfect, the food was excellent, the scenery and wild life were awesome and even the retarded city yuppies were entertaining.  At dinner we were watching the deer outside the window, and an educated Downtown Minneapolis city dweller was saying to her husband, “oh look at the deers….  That one is doing something really strange…”  Her husband said “maybe it is doing a corn dance”…

I started laughing at their naiveness…  In my best redneck southern accent…… I said to Scott, “Why honey… I do believe that there deer is about to take a crap!!!”  Scott and I lost it and were laughing so hard we had to leave.

Note to city girl… Put down your I-phone and check into life and nature… You are missing it girl!
Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Kerfoot for the nicest NorthernGirl adventure of January.  Your resort staff is the friendliest and most accommodating I have ever had the privledge of meeting.  The cabin was elegant, clean and rustic all at the same time…   It really had a classy Eddie Bauer feel.
I cant wait to come up in the summer and go trout fishing!!!
Love to you all…
NorthernGirl Tammy
