This is a link you will want to use. Talk about a great meal. We got there at 4 PM and the back patio overlooking the river didn’t open until 5 so we went inside to have a cold drink. Smalley’s has an unbelievable selection of caribbean rum. We started out with a rum and diet coke. The bartender was making some wonderful drinks and giving us “tastes” of each one. Yummo! We went out on the patio at 5 and had an appetizer of fried plantain and chips with queso and Caribbean salsa. Then we had bbq chicken with sweet potatoes and mac and cheese. 2nd course was bbq shrimp and a couple of “dark and stormys”. They were amazing. Took a walk down by the river and looked at all the “beautiful people” going by in their luxury boats. Don’t believe the news media. People still have money… Or they have alot of debt…
Stillwater is a great place to spend a Saturday night. The shopping, antique stores and restaurants are excellent. Take a day trip and have dinner at Smalley’s. You will be glad you did.
I am going to bed so I can get up early and go visit my dad. I always bring flowers to the cemetery and have a good cry. If you still have your dad… go spend a nice day with him and tell him how much you love him. I would give anything to fish with my dad one more time. Have a great Sunday. God Bless.
