Took 1/2 a day off on Thursday to go to Stella’s Fish House rooftop for happy hour with my best friend’s Stan & Mary and their friend Bill that was visiting for the week from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.  If you have not been to Stella’s, you need to make it a point.  Their Acai Blueberry vodka and club sodas were yummo…  All appetizers were $5.  We tried Frickles (fried pickles), champagne mussels, calamari and a few other wonderful treats.  The atmosphere was nice and the weather was perfect.  We also stopped across the street for a couple beers at Cowboy Slims.  Talk about aroma.  They were wood roasting steaks, brisket and God only knows what else!!!  The have a nice patio and great happy hour prices.  Beers were $2.  Give both places a try.  You will be glad you did.
